Free for CNC members and all children under 18, $5/non-member adult; good for both days of the event.

Event Overview

Venture out to celebrate nature! See live birds of prey, mammals, amphibians, reptiles and fish up close. Explore the outdoors with scientists and naturalists while getting your hands on nature. People of all ages will find something of interest in the variety of programs including hikes, live animal programs, demonstrations and kids’ activities.

Kids Discovery Stations – Games, crafts and face painting at The Woods Nature Play Area
Exploration Stations – Pond dipping, forest investigations & insect collecting along Arbury Trail
Nature Preschool Open House – Learn about the program, explore the building or spend time playing indoors and outside
Explore the Homestead Farm – Visit the farm to make plant prints and do other activities
Nature Lab – Visit indoor stations to learn more about plants, animals and fungi
