Making the Most of Winter: A Workshop for Interpreters

The day’s sessions will let you explore the fields and woods of CNC, learn to identify trees in their winter state, tour the Nature Preschool, learn about the fur trade and much more! Come spend time with friends old and new as we take advantage of the ‘slow’ season in interpretation.

Sessions will include:

  • Winter Tree ID
  • Making a Fire by Friction Kit
  • Snowshoeing
  • Winter Adaptation Activities
  • Winter Land Management
  • A Tour of Nature Preschool
  • Early Childhood Winter Activities

Workshop attendees are invited to spend a relaxing evening at CNC’s Visitor Center following the program.
