
Charred material scraped from the interior of Vessel 2 excavated in the 110 West Block at the Sias East site produced a C-14 date that calibrates to 1420 A.D. with a 2-sigma age range of 1400-1450 A.D. (2 sigma). This date is unpublished.
Vessel 2 is a late prehistoric pot with a plain/smoothed neck and cordmarked body. Decoration consists of cord impressions on the exterior of the lip and a row of corded punctates at the shoulder. Sherds of Vessel 2 are illustrated below.
